Notes from the Road - GOITSE July Newsletter

Hi Everyone.

For this July newsletter we have loads of positive news that we are excited to share with you.
Since the launch of “Tall Tales & Misadventures” on May 1st we have been getting loads of great album reviews and here is some of our favourite ones:

“Their new CD, Tall Tales & Misadventures is a blockbuster and by far their best work yet, full of new songs and classic pieces. If you love intricate Irish Music played by people that know and enjoy what they’re doing and a singer with the voice of an angel this CD is for you.” Jack Baker, Irish American News

“This act is now so polished and professional it is no wonder that they are one of the most popular acts on the international festival circuit” – Chicago Irish American News

“With Tall Tales and Misadventures, Goitse have taken their expressive landscape of sound to a whole new level” – Eileen Mc Cabe

“This mix of gentle grace and gloves-off grit is becoming a hallmark of Goitse’s recordings” – Living Tradition

The other good news is that we have signed with three new agencies who will be booking the band gigs in new places for us. Canada, Austria and Denmark here we come in 2015/2016! We will let you know more about these tours closer to the time.

We are just back from a Mediterranean Cruise with Disney “Magic” and over the next month will be playing on some more. We will also be squeezing in a concert at The Feakle Trad fest in Clare and The All Ireland Fleadh in Sligo in August. Keep an eye on our website and Facebook for more details

Enjoying a day in Malta
