Great new version of 'Only Our Rivers Run Free' from Charlie McCoy & Marian Bradfield

Here is a track from the new album by Charlie McCoy called Celtic Dreams featuring Marian Bradfield. McCoy is a legendary Nashville harmonica player that has played on dozens of hit records, including work for such legends as Elvis Presley, Simon & Garfunkel, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison and many more.

From this recording a classic version of Only Our Rivers Run Free has emerged. According to the press release “both Charlie and Marian had been kicking around the idea of doing some recording together. Just recently the opportunity arose. Marian brought her stunning voice and guitar to the recording. While on the other hand , Charlie brought his years of recording experience as a member of Nashville's A Team to the studio. Of course, he provided his Grammy awarding winning harmonica playing to the recording. It becomes pretty obvious why the likes of Elvis, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, Simon and Garfunkel, Dolly Parton, George Jones and countless others all have recorded having Charlie McCoy on their sessions.

Marian was thrilled to be asked by Charlie to appear on his new CD "Celtic Dreams." Marian has long enjoyed doing and including Americana styled music in her own Celtic influenced live shows. Apparently, those in the know in Music City have taken notice of that."
