Traditional Irish Music
Each year, the IMRO Showcases at the Temple Bar TradFest aim to shine a light on the rising stars of traditional music in Ireland. Those selected to perform at the showcases have the opportunity to be heard by festival organisers, artist managers, media, international delegates and a supportive collection of traditional music enthusiasts.
The showcases will offer a platform for national and international festivals and agents to see emerging Irish traditional and folk acts perform live. The Showcase is an essential part of Tradfest as it introduces new music to delegates which may result in propelling performers to the next level of their career. This is a chance to see these new acts debut at TradFest.
On Saturday 31st January this year they feature two acts that we have featured a lot on this site. Clare flute player Áine Heslin and the powerhouse of modern infused trad, The Trí-Tones.
