Traditional Irish Music
We posted a lot of blogs/videos throughout the year and this one gained over 2,500 views making it the most watched/read blogs on Tradconnect in 2014. For those that don't get the opportunity to attend some of the Fleadh Cheoil competitions here is a taster of the frighteningly high level that needs to be reached in order to take away the top prize. Séamus O' Gorman from Craobh Na gComarach, Port Láirge took 1st place in the under 12 category on fiddle. Here he is preforming on the gig rig after his win. You can't help but think that you will be hearing a lot from this young man in the not too distant future. Ten years ago a young Dylan Foley took this prize and this year he was senior champion. Lets see what the next ten years brings for Séamus O' Gorman.
