Submit your Press Release and say hello to your new audience

Tradconnect has grown. In 6 years we have gathered quite an audience. Over 8,000 members, close to 300 tracks on our Soundcloud file, achieving 400 hours of play each week and up to 1,000 daily visitors.

The site is essentially non-commercial and exists to help musicians and others involved in traditional arts to reach a wider audience.

With our large audience we can undertake projects that use our IT infrastructure and network to achieve even greater goals. Check out our Digital Download Centre where we have partnered with over 120 Irish Radio Broadcasters from around the world. If you have a new album on release we can make it available in digital form to all of these broadcasters who can then play it on their radio shows.

A lot of our content comes directly from our members and the wider traditional community. Tradconnect as a network is open to all to access. To do so, all you need to do is write to us with a Press Release outlining your news. Include links, images, videos and Soundcloud files and we will turn it into a news story. We then feed this back out to our readers through Tradconnect, our RTE column, our newsletter and social media channels.

In this way you can reach a vast new audience with your music.

A press release can cover anything from a new album, tour, collaboration, new video release, soundcloud release, festival, community event, etc. With regard to new album releases we previously published this example

So, write to us today with your news and say hello to a whole new audience.
