Traditional Irish Music
Having recently submitted a video of my solo whistle version, It was picked up by my good friend Joe Greene (1/2 of Dulahan) who decided that, for once, my timing was steady enough for him to do something with it.
The end result is this bit of collaberation. Whistle being played in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Guitar coming from Kildare in Ireland. The images were found by me and added by Joe.
I find the whistle too difficult most days so all the technical sourcery was also done in Kildare. I hope anyone who stumbles this way will approve.

Wow! This must be the very first musical / video experience produced from a TradConnect collaboration! Very nice video Michael, Joe and Charlie ( I didn't hear any fiddles though?!). I really enjoyed hearing Michael's playing again with Joe's accompaniment. Michael, you've inspired me to practice the whistle more too :)! While watching it, I expected the video to lead into some sort of U.S. public television (a la Ken Burns') production!
P.S. Micheal, where did you find the lovely old pictures used for the video? Can you provide a little detail about those?
Thanks for sharing and I hope you can make some more grand video productions from your lovely tunes!
