This is the first single taken from the  Johnny Duhan album called Winter.  It is right up to date dealing with this countries present economic woes.  Christy Moore has called Johnny “One of our greatest songwriters.” and  the late Ronnie Drew also described him as “one of my favourite songwriters.” Fine praise indeed.  His song "The Voyage" has become a modern day classic.  His new album Winter uses the cold season as a metaphor to deal with the process of ageing and its effect on mind and spirit.

Johnny was the leader of an R&B/soul cover band, Granny's Intention in the late '60s.  Following this he turned to songwriting with many of his songs covered by Christy Moore, Mary Black, Dolores Keane, the Dubliners and the Irish Tenors. Visit www.johnnyduhan.com
