Larry Reynolds Irish Music Festival / Friday 11th - Sunday 13th September 2015

The Schedule for the Larry Reynolds Irish Music Festival has now been finalised with a superb line-up of musicians, tutors, craft exhibitors and one of the country's finest Céilí bands in the Country.

Friday 11th September 8pm:    Gala Memorial Concert in Ballinasloe Town Hall at 8pm

The line up includes:  

Citizen Keane

Matt Cunningham & Family

Members of Larry Reynolds extended family from Boston & Ireland

Saturday 12th September:     Music & Sean Nós Dancing Workshops, Craft Exhibitions, Music Sessions.

Workshops will be held at various venues, all registration will take place in The Pillar House:

Flute - John Wynne,   Banjo - Angelina Carberry,  Banjo - Johnny "Ringo" McDonagh,  Tin Whistle - Mick Crehan,  Accordion - Colm Gannon,   Concertina - Kelly Gannon,  Fiddle - Jesse Smith,     Sean Nós Dancing - John Joyce (Sean Seoighe.

There will be various craft exhibitions during the day on Society Street and you will have the opportunity to try your hand.

In the evening all the tutors and students will come together for a Session which will be followed by an open Session, to which all visiting musicians will be welcome to join.

Sunday 13th September:    Céilí Mór will take place in Gullane's Hotel in Main Street at 4pm

In the morning brush up on your set dancing skills with our local instructors before taking to the floor at 2.30pm to the toe tapping Salamance Céilí Band.  Admission is €10, a great afternoon in store.

Music sessions will bring the evening and the weekend to a close.
