Listen to a track from "The Boruma Trio" and their new album Gléas

The Boruma Trio is a musical collaboration that unites the two stylistically contrasting musical traditions of East Clare and North Tipperary.  It features fiddler Eileen O' Brien from North Tipperary, accordion player Andrew MacNamara from East Clare and the piano and tin whistle skills of Dr. Geraldine Cotter from Ennis.  The Boruma Trio derives its name from Brian Boru High King of Ireland, who was born at the Fort of Kincora, also known as "Béal Boruma." We will get to a review shortly.  For now here is track 8 from the album and the reels The Happy Man and Paddy Taylor's Reel.
