You can now listen to Fainne An Lae (Daybreak), the 2006 debut release by Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh. Muireann grew up in Dún Chaoin, Co. Kerry and was a recipient of the 2011 Gradaim Ceoil TG4 Amhránaí na Bliana/Singer of the Year award. She has toured and performed with various musicians and groups before joining Danú in 2003 as their lead singer and later, their flautist. Muireann performed with Danú for 13 years until 2015. Now a regular contributor to television and radio programmes at home and abroad, she featured prominently in the BBC series “Transaltantic Sessions” in 2011. She also regularly co-hosts Gradam Ceoil TG4 and has presented and contributed to many music programmes, nationally and internationally, on television and on radio. Visit www.muireann.ie
