CD available for sale at each event
UK premiere of the documentary film. This feature length documentary, Nights in Shanaglish
comprises interviews, local history, contexts and landscape scenery for the session recordings
that are the focus of the "live" music album. Co-Producer, Paddy Egan, notes that the goal
of the project is to "capture the essence of their traditional Irish music session in a small village
in the west of Ireland."
Nights in Shanaglish are a group of performers, musicians, storytellers, and singers
including the following: Susan Fogarty (fiddle), Niall Finnegan (guitar and vocals).
Joe Kearney (vocals). Colie Moran (banjo) Brian O'Halloran (vocals). Mary Noonan (vocals)
Vincey Keehan (guitar, mandolin, vocals, and lilting) Séamus Keehan (whistle)
Anthony McGrath (guitar and vocals) Paddy Egan (concertina and dance)
Rosie Keehan (vocals) Paul O'Driscoll (double bass)
A number of artists from the project, including Co-Producers
Paddy Egan and Vincey Keehan, will perform before the film showing.
