Martin Hayes (fiddle) and Dennis Cahill (guitar), return to the Irish Arts Center for two weeks in residence this October. Each of these eight evenings, curated by Martin, will feature special guests and collaborators, exploring the roots of traditional music while breaking cultural barriers and taking audiences on an unforgettable artistic journey. 

The first week of performances features the Martin Hayes Quartet in its North American debut featuring Martin Hayes, Dennis Cahill, Liz Knowles, and Doug Wieselman with special guests from the U.S. traditional Irish music community. 

The second week features collaborations outside the traditional Irish music world including jazz singer Cassandra Wilson, Indian pianist Utsav Lal, contemporary artist Thomas Bartlett (a.k.a. Doveman), cellist Kate Ellis, poet and songwriter Paul Muldoon, among other talented artists.
