Matt & Shannon Heaton - Online launch of "Tell You In Earnest" set for 1st April 2014

On 1st April 2014 we will have our first online launch of a new album and it will be Tell You In Earnest by Matt & Shannon Heaton from Boston.  We believe that the online release of an album deserves a little bit more of a fanfare.  For our members and readers it will be the first time that you get to hear a track from the album and we plan to be ahead of YouTube and Facebook when it comes to new sounds.
Tell You In Earnest is Matt & Shannon's 4th album and features 10 songs that are built around a theme of conversation. This takes the listener inside the songs. Words and melodies that might previously have just floated by, now linger that bit longer as you seek to follow the story.
Matt & Shannon have also taken this concept a little further with a number of short videos that explain the songs. The liner notes to the album state that for them "music has always been about conversation.  From easy chat at home, to spirited talk during rehearsals, to back-and-forth onstage banter that endears them to audiences." In a nutshell they "value dialogue" and transpose that into their music.

If you want to take part in the "Tradconnect Online Launch" series get in touch with us.  The only requirement is that you have not previously shared sounds from your album online. Here are our contact details.

I cannot wait for this release, they are my favourite irish traditional duo. I also had the privilage to have a private guitar lesson with Matt and he's really a great teacher.
