We were joined by the incredible Connemara Sean Nós dancer Gearóid O Dubháin and featured alongside a brilliant line up of musicians and singers;  Damien Mullane, Donogh Hennessy, Eamonn DeBarra, Dónal McCague,Barry Kerr, Lumiere,  Johnny Óg Connolly & Brian McGrath.
If you missed the show you can catch it again on Wednesday 19th November at 8PM or you can catch up at any time  here>>

John McSherry & Dónal O'Connor are working away on a new CD and have pre-produced all of the tracks. They hope to get into the studio in early January to put some meat to the bones. They're very excited about the material that they have gathered up. It features a mix of traditional Irish & European tunes and some new compositions. Keep an eye on the websiteand our facebook page Like Autumn Newsletter - Latest happenings on Facebook to hear of updates and release plans.... and we'll keep you posted on their progress.

The lads have been busy producing a CD for County Antrim Harpist and singer Susan Grace Bates which will be released in Spring 2015. The album will feature an eclectic mix of Scandanavian, Irish and Scottish melodies and some self penned songs.

Dónal O'Connor's mother Eithne Ní Uallacháin was regarded as one of the finest traditional singers of her generation. She passed away suddenly in 1999. As a member of Lá Lugh she forged new interpretations of the Irish tradition.
A solo album which she had been working on, prior to her death, will be released on 21st November 2014 on the Gael Linn label.

Bilingua took Eithne in a new direction, while creatively engaging with the tradition, she also composed new material of her own. The songs, in Irish and English, are given very contemporary arrangements by a host of musicians.
The CD is beautifully presented in a 40 page book which gives detailed biographical information and the background for each piece. The book, designed by Syd Bluett, incorporates tributes from a range of leading female singers, including Mary Black and Pauline Scanlon, all of whom testify to Eithne’s abiding influence on them.
Musicians featuring on the album include Gerry O’Connor, Dónal O’Connor, Giles Le Bigot, Nicky Scott, Neil Martin, John McSherry, Mario nGoma & Niall O'Callanain.
A new website will be launched to coincide with the album release and will feature photos, videos and archive material from Lá Lugh touring etc...

The album is available for PreOrder here
