Notes from the Road - GOITSE December Newsletter

Hi Guys, Hope everyone is well and enjoying the run up to christmas.

We have had a busy few months and are ready to have a few weeks off to enjoy the festivities.

It is hard to believe that this night one year ago we were packing our bags for a seven week tour of china. So much has happened in that year having toured AMAZING places. We are having so much fun on the road, making new memories wherever we go. We feel so lucky to be doing what we are doing and are enjoying every single minute of it.

Enjoying the Great Wall

We had such an amazing time on the Irish Folk Festival tour during october and november. We traveled all around Germany as well as parts of Switzerland and Holland with an amazing crew. Realta, Dónal Clancy, Niamh Dunne and Sean óg Gragham were also on the tour and we couldn’t have had a better bunch of people to tour/hang around with. It was fantastic to see such great crowds each night and we met a lot of new friends along the way, as well as the odd familiar face A highlight of the tour was definitely our gig in Hamburg. The gig was sold out and 1200 people crammed into a standing only venue. The atmosphere was ELECTRIC. We are really looking forward to returning to Germany and switzerland in Oct 2015.

2015 also sees the band touring in canada for the first time which we are sooooooooooooo excited about. Some of the dates are already on our website but more will be added soon. Make sure to keep an eye out. We will also be returning to the U.S and to Denmark so it’s busy, but exciting, times ahead for the band.

We are delighted with all the positive feedback we have received since releasing our third CD ‘Tall Tales and Misadventures’ this year. We would like to thank all of you for your support throughout the year and we hope to see you all somewhere along the road very soon.
