Notes From the Road : John McKenna "The Buck from the Mountain", Album Launch

The interest in the definitive McKenna story is approaching fever pitch.......Following our 'standing room' only first launch in Drumkeeran town last Saturday night, the interest in the project has taken on a life of its own. Our website went live on Monday last at 7pm and copies of the The Music and Life of John McKenna; 'The Buck From The Mountain'  have been flying out of the online shop ever since.

We are getting 10-15mins live airtime on the John Murray Show on RTE Radio 1 on Wednesday morning next 18-June-2014 between 9am and 10am with the sole purpose of spreading the John McKenna gospel to John Murray's 323,000 listeners in Ireland and around the world on the on to this link on Wednesday next and then click the 'Listen Live' window.......   


Following that, on Saturday 21-June-2014, we are getting a full hour on Charlie McGettigan's wonderful show The Saturday Connection on Shannonside radio between 10am and on this link to listen           

Please also find the link to a show we did on the Irish language national radio station RnaG, this was done before the first our bit starts at 32:27 and finishes at 1:17:04........our sincere thanks to our great friends Neansaí Ní Choisdealbha and Louise Devitt for setting this up........ Loads more invitations to do radio promo were accepted, I will keep ye updated before they happen........our next launch will be at the Willie Clancy Summer School, Co Clare on Sunday 6-July-2014, project to be launched by the flute driver supreme Conal Ó Gráda, check out attached flyer for details.......looking forward to staying in touch now that the McKenna odyssey is re-born, take care.
