'Our Dear Dark Mountain' Album complete

Finally done!  After 8 months of work on the CD and nearly 7 years research on the project, the finished product goes to the printers tomorrow. I'm delighted with every aspect of the album and have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the process.

It has been great to work so closely with TG4 Young Musician of the Year 2013 - Dónal McCague in the preparation and recording of the album. A fantastic musician with immense knowledge and ability that has added immeasurably to this project.

It has also been a privilege to work with a whole host of talented musicians and singers in the making of this recordin0g. Among these are Darren Breslin (button accordion), Michael Rooney (concertina), Laura Beagon (fiddle), Conor McCague (banjo), Brian McGrath (piano, banjo) Michael McCague (guitar, bouzouki), Monica Beagon-Treanor (singing) and Caitríona Sherlock (singing).

Also must mention the efforts of Paul Gurney for all his expertise in the recording process and similarly John Blake and Tommy Flack for further recording assistance and to the OgMediaGroup for all the design efforts.

Next stop is Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Sligo where the album will be launched on August 16th. And hopefully a TradConnect launch at some stage after that too!
