Traditional Irish Music
Well you won't hear a better name than this and the music is just as damn good. Socks in the Frying Pan. Where do they come up with these names. It appeared as a new tune name on Shane Hayes's first album Small Towns in Built-up Areas. A classic name. The band is made up of brothers Shane and Fiachra Hayes on accordion and fiddle/banjo with Aodán Coyne on guitar and vocals.
Hailing from County Clare they mix traditional music with some great melodies as you can no doubt tell from these tracks. It most definitely fresh and marks another potential album of the year in the making on the basis of these tracks alone. Can't wait to get our hands on a copy of the album. Something to look forward to. Check them out. We have just got a copy of Shane's first album and will post a review shortly. When we get a link to the place this new album can be bought we will add it. Check their Facebook Page Socks In The Frying Pan
