Traditional Irish Music
Stolen Notes have released a new track from their album The Loot. We reviewed the album last year stating that "they cover music from Ireland, Scotland, Asturias and Brittany. It’s a really enjoyable album with echoes of Guidewires and Sylvain Barou within its beautifully crafted tracks. The band comprises Juan J. Almaraz - flute, whistle, Roke Folgueira - guitar, Jose Moreno - bodhrán, bouzouki, Salvador Daza - fiddle, and Alejo Parra - uilleann pipes. It’s interesting as well to hear the Spanish influence seep into the guitar and bodhrán accompaniment. It’s not overly pronounced and at heart, this is traditional music with jigs, reels and polkas on display."
