Support Slide and their Kickstarter Project

Between Kickstarter and Fund It a few Irish artists are now following this route in raising much needed funds for the production of their albums. Lets hear what Slide have to say.

The best part of this is that you are not giving your much needed funds away for the sake of it.  It is the same as buying an album, all be it before that album has been made. However with a band of Slide's quality and with Tradconnect member Éamonn de Barra involved then you know you are in good hands. Here is what the band have to say

Hello Slide fans,
We are embarking on a new project; our 4th studio album.
We have always maintained the control and ownership of our music down through the years. You can enable us to continue in this vein by acting as our record label and support this album so that we can make the music we love in our own way.

How this works:
You commit to our album in advance by buying one of the 'incentives' on the right of this page. You can specify details such as t-shirt sizes etc. once the project crosses the finish line. We have tried to make the incentives a personal and unique experience so that you may enjoy the band in a new way and also allow us to achieve our goal.

We look forward to seeing you on our travels for the rest of 2012 and also to bringing you new music.

From Éamonn, Daire, Aogán, Mick and Dave,

Thank you :o)
