Talkin' Trad : The Teatotallers on WTJU radio

We understand that the Teetotallers will be releasing an album early in 2014.  Here is an interesting studio interview that they carried out with the radio station WTJU in Charlottesville, USA  a while back.  It was part of their US tour at the time and they play a few tunes and talk about their music and formation.  John Doyle also sings an interesting alternative version of The Wild Rover which is worth a listen.  The group came together following a festival in California where the festival organiser literally threw various musicians together to see what would happen.  He even gave them their name which they have stuck with since.

I've been crossing my fingers in the hope that The Teetotallers would put out an album. I was afraid that with The Gloaming project Martin might have told Kevin & John that such a recording would have to go to the 'back burner'. But now perhaps 2014 will bring us Martin Hayes fans an embarrassment of riches as reward for our patience!
