The Mike Harding Folk Show....Starts today, Sunday 30th December at 5pm

Looking through new members it is a great pleasure to have Mike Harding join our merry bunch here on Tradconnect.  This veteran musician and presenter has done great work over a long career in promoting new music and artists in general.  Whilst best know for his folk output as presenter of BBC Radio 2's Folk show his interests have covered roots and traditional as well.  As a follow up to his BBC Folk Show which ended in December he has wasted no time in getting back to doing what he does best and that is presenting.  His new Internet show called The Mike Harding Folk Show starts today at 5pm. In Mike's own words

"The end of something can be the beginning of something else and following the axing of the Mike Harding Show on the Beeb it seemed only sensible to go on doing the same thing only better"  This will be broadcast on his website www.mikeharding.co.uk today at 5pm
 
"every week I’m going to be pod casting an hour plus of the very best folk, roots and acoustic music – some of it will be up to the moment current stuff reflecting the new releases that are coming out, other stuff will be out of the archives: classic tracks from way back which have more than stood the test of time"
