Press Release : Musical Geniuses The Waterboys, have just been announced as the Sunday headliner of Folkfest Killarney. One of Ireland's leading bands since the 80's and renowned for their extraordinary music this is one gig not to be missed.

The second year of Folkfest Killarney will certainly surpass all expectations with Christy Moore to headline Saturday night and Damien Dempsey to headline Friday night. Christy Moore will be joined on stage by Máirtín O'Connor, Cathal Hayden, Seamie O'Dowd and Jim Higgins.

Also performing at the festival are Choice Music Award nominee Colm Mac Con Iomaire, Iarla O ‘Lionáird, Mike McGoldrick Big Band, the sublime Maria Doyle Kennedy plus lots more to be announced.
Highlights from 2015 include Moving Hearts, The Unthanks, Begley and Cooney, Lost Brothers, Lynched, Aldoc, Paddy Glackin, The Gloaming with Steve Cooney, Vieux Farka Touré, Kíla Tim Eriksen, Danú, Moxie and Mícheál O Súilleabháin.
