Traditional Irish Music
We have 5 copies of a new outstanding compilation album of traditional Irish music to give away to our readers. The album is called The Wild Atlantic Way - A Journey in Irish Music and its goal is to "tells stories, invite reflection and capture the sense of fun that is an essential part of any trip along THE WILD ATLANTIC WAY.
It features Altan, Rita Connolly, Francie Conway, Danú, Dervish, The High Kings, Seán Keane, Kíla, The Kilfenora Céilí Band, Lumiere, John McSherry, Sharon Shannon, John Spillane & John Walsh.
The music represents a selection of some of Ireland’s finest performers and the influence of the culture, language and history. It tells of a sense of people and place that is infectious to anyone who spends time there.
The album includes a new composition by John Spillane called "Along The Wild Atlantic Way" which is the signature tune for Creedon’s Wild Atlantic Way, 3 one-hour television shows to be broadcast on RTÉ One Sundays at 6.30 pm July 26th, and August 2nd & 9th
