Record 1,500 views in 14 days for The Yanks album

We have hit a record here on Tradconnect for one of our album reviews. 14 days ago we posted our album review for The Yanks and in that period we are approaching 1,500 views.  For a relatively young and new site like Tradconnect this is indeed a record.  It shows the power of social media in action and how it can be used in marketing and promotion.  We also have an interview coming up with Dan Gurney from The Yanks.  It was recorded a few weeks ago and we talk about the general success they had in launching the album on Bandcamp. They reached No 1 on the Bandcamp charts for a day as well, some achievement for a traditional album.  The album is fantastic and deserves the recognition it gets. You can read our full review here.

Due to the phenomenal response we are getting to the content that we are publishing, our page hits per month are exceeding 40,000.  So for artists and people involved in community and other projects we would encourage you to email us your stories and trad news and we will do our best to get it online and re posted out to other social media sites. Also our Album of the Year poll will attract a lot of attention so if you or some of your friends have an album on release let them know about us. We pay particular attention to active members on the site so post your events and news and we will start to follow you. You can listen and purchase The Yanks album here
