Track of the Week : Dan Possumato / Da Eye Wifey ( 1st May 2016 )

Our track of the week for the last week in April 2016 comes from the new compilation album from Dan Possumato.  The album is called Mostly Melodeon and it is at the No.1 spot on our Soundcloud file have received the most plays over a 7 day period. Included below is the opening track from the album called Da Eye Wifey.

Dan says that “this toe-tapping tune was composed by Iain Mcleod, formerly of the band Shooglenifty. The title is a reference to the optometrist spouse of a Shetland Islands man. It features Dan on melodeon, Kevin Burke on fiddle and Frances Cunningham on bouzouki.”
