We reviewed the album that this track by Éanna Ó Cróinín was taken from some weeks ago and a very fine album it is indeed. The album is called Ceol Ársa na bPíob and is worth checking out.
Éanna hails from the Gaeltacht area of County Meath and has devoted much time to the playing of the uilleann pipes. His influences as you might guess include the greats. Leo Rowsome, Seamus Ennis, Patsy Touhey, Willie Clancy and others.
