Ulaid and Duke Special announce concert at Pavillion Theatre Dublin - 23rd September 2017

An exciting fusion of the contemporary songwriting of Duke Special and the traditional music of Ulaid; John McSherry (pipes / low whistle), Donal O’Connor (fiddle) and Sean Og Graham (guitar).

Through their exploration of the Francis J. Bigger collection in Belfast Central Library, all manner of texts from property deeds to personal correspondence and translations of ancient poetry proved a fertile source of inspiration, effectively capturing Belfast and its history in music and song.

A new album of the resulting material entitled “A Note Let Go” is due for release in September 2017 to coincide with their concert at the Pavillion Theatre, Dun Laoighaire. For tickets follow this link.
