US launch for Aodán Coyne's 'If We Only Knew' 26th May, Chicago

Aodán Coyne has announced a US launch date for his new solo album If We Only Knew. It will take place at Chief O’Neill’s Chicago on 26th May after the Chicago Gaelic Park Irish Fest. It starts at 8pm and there will be a few guests.

We reviewed the album recently saying that "vocally there is a growing maturity and honesty to his delivery. Songs like Workers Song by Dick Gaughan are instilled with a depth of interpretive spirit that is critical to such material.  Failing to find new expression for such well-travelled songs can be the death of an album, but Aodán manages to navigate successfully through those waters. The inclusion of a couple of his own songs including Time is Short But Free further demonstrates an artist in search of new territory with new material that is strong both lyrically and musically."
