The music just keeps getting better. So what have we been listening to this month?. Its been a mixture of old and new. Been having a good listen to Denis Liddy and Elvie Miller and their album Tradaree. Really great album of Clare inspired fiddle music with some lovely accompaniment from Elvie on piano accordion and piano.

With a definite slant towards fiddle music we have been listening to some old albums including Bobby Casey and his album Taking Flight as well as some of the new pretenders to the throne like our own Donál McCague. Even though we reviewed the album Bits N' Pieces last year it still gets taken out for repeat plays. The new Kevin Crawford album Carrying The Tune is also a cracker and is still fairly new to us. Some new albums through the door, well for us anyway. This includes is the new album from Fullset. Getting a good few plays and we will be following up with a review shortly. We have just put up a review of the new Brendan Mulholland album Jean's Hill which rounds off a good month for flute albums. We have fallen behind a little with the reviews but hope to get a good few out in the next short while.
