Traditional Irish Music
Carlow brothers Brían and Diarmuid Mac Gloinn, who form Ye Vagabonds, released their highly anticipated debut album last month, on their own label: Inglenook Records. Following sold out album launch shows in Dublin and Carlow in October, and a brief jaunt in Sydney with Culture Ireland, where they performed for President Michael D. Higgins, they return from their foreign travels to embark on a full album launch tour, performing at: Live at St. Luke’s, Cork, on Friday 24th November, The Black Gate, Galway, on Sunday 3rd December (two shows), The Grand Social, Dublin, on Wednesday 6th December and The Duncairn, Belfast, on Saturday 9thDecember.
Their album has been hailed as a ‘sparkling debut’ by The Irish Times, and The Sunday Times says: “there is something charming about this album that makes it entirely their own.” Treat yourself to an evening of Ye Vagabonds’ harmony rich folk music, influenced by Irish traditional music, Appalachian singing, and the 1960's folk revival, as they’re joined by special guests along the way.
