Hi Tony, I posted a small video on Tradconnect and it has been pending approval for a long time now. Is there something I need to know? I heard "Off to Dublin in the green" from the Irish Rovers who were very popular in Canada and contributed to spreading Irish music throughout the Country. When I played it, I mentioned a bit about the story of the song and I only played it as entertainment. Could you please advise> Thanks. The site has been growing very well and this is quite an accomplishment. Congratulations and keep up the good work.
Thanks for the message Tony. The best of luck with TradConnect and what a great idea. Will be very interested to see all that's going on and add a few thoughts myself. Many thanks, Tom Byrne
Thank you for your welcome message. I just returned from two weeks in Ireland, was there to see friends and attend the Ennis Trad Festival. A great trip and even better music!
Hi Tony
so happy to be in contact with you.I'm from Iran and I love Irish music and I'm seriously going to introduce it to my people.so I composed some songs in that genre, but there is nobody in my country that play the Irish instruments.so I need to have an online collaboration with an Irish musician. Would you help me about that?
I seem to be unable to access our IM thread from Saturday. Could you please send me that link to your Thursday evening session? forget it ...just got your FBmsg. Cheers for now! Liam
Tony,
My wife and I will be visiting Dublin for the first time in a few weeks (3nights 28, 29, 30 of May,departing on 31st)..
Anything happening? Trying to avoid the tourist traps. Did you mention a Thursday night session? Unfortunately, I will not be traveling with my mandolin, but I would love to stop by and say hello and have a pint.
Thank you Tony. I will get back to post some things but I am unfortunately very under the weather at present. I appreciate your e-mail though. Slán go fóill
