Danny and Aki are a duo playing music from the Irish, American and Nordic traditions on fiddle, button accordion and nyckelharpa.

Our debut fiddle-and-accordion album, titled 'Music from the Irish, American and Nordic traditions' was released in Summer 2012. Danny & Aki - Two Traditions.  In early 2013 Danny & Aki began work on ‘Two Traditions’, an Arts Council supported project exploring the common ground between traditional music from Ireland and Finland.

In this concert they present Two Traditions’ live debut, bringing together material and sounds from Ireland and Finland along with alternative fiddle tunings…
