What Instrument ( inc Voice ) Do You Play ?: violin, button accordion, piano, tin whistle.

Provide any other information here: The fiddle is my main instrument, but I am learning other instruments to reach a new overall level of skill. I have composed about 60 tunes also. I enjoy a wide variety of styles but I am firmly rooted in the sligo-leitrim "regional" style, and I have a great respect for the people responsible continuation of the tradition like Michael Coleman et al. :)

Next year I hope we can sit down and talk --- about anything you enjoy discussing. You did mention the psychology of politics, avoiding specific personalities.

I did more listening on this visit and promise to listen even more next time.

Why doesn't Carrick-on-Shannon have a hostel? I've been through on the bus on the way to Sligo --- one of my favorite places on the island. Just to look over to Benbulben becomes a revelation.

I have felt on each return that I have to be in your country. It does keep calling me back. I hear it each time I listen.

You are another person for whom I have great respect for continuing the tradition.
