No problem Connie. It should be with you in the next day or two. Thanks a million for your kind comments. I was taught by a great Monaghan fiddler called Deirdre Rooney who unfortunately passed away in her early thirties in 2004. She is a sister of famous harpist, Michael Rooney, also a cousin of mine from Scotstown, Co. Monaghan. I played a couple of tunes that he taught me on the album so you'll hear them soon! I also got a few lessons from Tommy Peoples where I learned some of the tunes I recorded from him: some of his own compositions.

I could give you a lesson no problem if you were over sometime. Ireland's not that big that we couldn't organise a meeting point!

Hi Dónal, thanks for sharing the videos of your lovely fiddle playing!  Now I can't wait to receive CD - I hope it gets here this weekend!  I like your style!  Would you mind sharing with the TradConnect community who has taught you  to play the fiddle? Maybe if I get over to Ireland soon, I would like to take a lesson from you too! ~Connie
