Hey Bruce...On this particular arrangement, I used an "open D" tuning (key of G with capo on the 5th). Not only does it provide some added sustain over "DADGAD" I've performed before, but I find it works well for the lower register variation as well. It is a bit of a stretch to grab some of the notes in this arrangement but with practice it pulls off fairly smoothly. Thanks for asking!  :::---( o )

Thank you for your replies. I have really been enjoying listening to different videos as well and I love reading all the Gaelic names so many people and tunes have. Maybe one day I will learn how to pronounce them. I can't wait to go to Ireland - we are planning for next summer.
