Tony Mac Mahon, Barney McKenna & Micho Russell

Recorded in Ennis,County Clare around 1977.

This video captures the fun of the Fleadh for me ... music in the street.

Brilliant to see 2 of my heroes dancing in the street.

Micho's wonderful Whistle playing & proof, if any was ever needed, that the music really doesn't need to be crammed full of ornamention to be great music.

Brings back memories of my Mom and granddad step dancing, they used to dance in bars for prize money, yet they didn't drink.
